Job Title: Instrument Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Albena, Kenya. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various types of instruments used in industrial settings. This includes but is not limited to pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as excellent troubleshooting skills. You should also have experience working with various types of instrumentation systems and be familiar with industry safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Install new instrumentation systems according to specifications
- Conduct regular maintenance on existing instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate readings
- Keep detailed records of all work performed on instrumentation systems
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement improvements for instrument performance
- Adhere to industry safety standards and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field preferred
- At least 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience working with various types of instrumentation systems (e.g. pressure gauges, temperature sensors)
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Valid work permit for Albena, Kenya (visa sponsorship available)
- Must be able to work without accommodation
