We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team in Sofia, Bulgaria. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports on a regular basis
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts to ensure sufficient funds are available for daily operations
- Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes
- Participate in the budgeting process and provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is considered an asset
