Senior Accountant


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team in Ashdod, Israel. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our company and ensuring accuracy and compliance with all accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts
- Review and analyze budget variances
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end close procedures
- Coordinate with external auditors during yearly audits
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior accounting staff
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior accounting role
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proven ability to meet strict deadlines

We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month plus benefits package including accommodation. This position is open to all nationalities but candidates must have their own valid work visa for Israel.
