Executive Chef - Fine Dining (Egyptian or Canadian preferred)


We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our fine dining establishment in Washington, catering to an international clientele. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and high-quality dishes, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. This position is open to Egyptian or Canadian applicants who have a strong understanding of their respective cuisines and cultures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management
- Create new dishes and menus that reflect the restaurant's style and showcase local and international ingredients
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines
- Manage inventory levels and control food costs by monitoring waste and implementing efficient ordering systems
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to maintain a smooth flow of service and address any customer concerns or special requests

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent training from a reputable institution
- Extensive knowledge of Egyptian or Canadian cuisine, ingredients, and techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills; knowledge of Arabic or French is a plus

Salary: $1700/month (negotiable based on experience)
