Data Mining Analyst

The Data Mining Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data to identify patterns and trends that can be used to improve business strategies. They will work closely with various departments within the company to gather data and provide insights to inform decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in data mining tools and techniques, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze large sets of data from multiple sources
- Identify relevant trends, patterns, and correlations in the data
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to support business objectives
- Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Mining Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Python or other programming languages for data analysis
- Familiarity with data mining tools such as RapidMiner, SAS or Tableau
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Effective communication skills in English

Location: Los Angeles (Flexible for remote work)

Salary: $1100 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
