Dietitian - Contract Position in Los Angeles


We are currently hiring a skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our team in Los Angeles on a contract basis. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutrition counseling and education to our diverse client base. This role requires at least 2 years of experience as a Dietitian, preferably in a clinical or community setting.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments and develop personalized meal plans for clients based on their health goals and dietary needs
- Provide individual or group nutrition counseling sessions to educate clients on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition to provide evidence-based recommendations to clients
- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Valid Dietitian license/certification in the state of California
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dietitian, preferably in a clinical or community setting
- Strong knowledge of nutrition principles and ability to apply them to create personalized meal plans for clients
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively educate and motivate clients from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other healthcare professionals

Salary:
This is a contract position offering a competitive salary of $1300 per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.

Location:
This position is located in Los Angeles, California. However, due to current travel restrictions, we are open to considering candidates from other locations who are able to work remotely.
