Construction Project Manager - Mombasa, Kenya

We are in need of a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee our construction projects in Mombasa, Kenya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, managing schedules and budgets, obtaining necessary permits and approvals, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working in Mombasa or other areas of Kenya is preferred but not required

Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion
- Prepare budgets and schedules for projects and ensure they are adhered to by all parties involved
- Oversee the work of contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities as needed
- Communicate project progress to stakeholders including clients, contractors, and senior management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times throughout the project duration

We are offering a competitive salary of $1400 per month for this position. This is a contract job with potential for long-term employment based on performance. Visa sponsorship may also be provided for suitable candidates. We welcome applications from freshers without prior experience as training will be provided. However, candidates with prior experience in project management will be given preference.
