Construction Manager
As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the construction process for our company in Mombasa. Your main duties will include planning, coordinating, and supervising the construction of various projects. This will involve working closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and schedules in collaboration with project team members.
- Monitor progress and track expenses to ensure adherence to budget.
- Identify potential issues or delays and develop solutions to keep projects on track.
- Oversee quality control measures to ensure projects meet industry standards.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status.
- Manage and coordinate the work of contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
- Review contracts and negotiate terms with subcontractors as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and use relevant software for project management.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Salary: $1700 per month
Location: Mombasa
