Foundry Technician


As a Foundry Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining foundry equipment to produce high-quality metal castings. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various foundry equipment such as furnaces, crucibles, and molds
- Monitor and adjust temperature, pressure, and flow rates to ensure proper casting
- Inspect finished castings for defects and make necessary repairs
- Maintain inventory of supplies and order new materials as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient production processes
- Troubleshoot equipment issues as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a foundry or similar manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of foundry operations, including melting, pouring, and molding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills (English proficiency preferred)
- Valid work permit or residency status in Mombasa

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1800 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Mombasa. Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates.
