We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels and ensuring that products are displayed in an appealing and organized manner. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$, and while proficiency in English is preferred, it is not a requirement.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed
- Ensure that products are displayed in an attractive and organized manner
- Collaborate with sales team to create effective displays and promotions
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer preferences
- Communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and delivery schedules
- Train store staff on product knowledge and placement techniques

Requirements:
- Experience in merchandising or retail sales is preferred but not required
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Willingness to learn about new products and adapt to changing market trends
