Construction Manager in Malindi, Kenya for Indian Nationals
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee our projects in Malindi, Kenya. As an Indian national, you will be responsible for managing the construction process from start to finish, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate all construction activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management
- Hire and supervise subcontractors and construction workers
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to senior management
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment needed for each project
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns or issues that may arise
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality control
- Prepare reports on project status, budget, and timeline
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Construction Manager in a similar role
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Swahili is a plus)
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Malindi, Kenya (accommodation provided)
