Shaper - Woodworking Expert

As a Shaper, you will be responsible for shaping, cutting, and carving wood to create various products such as furniture, decorative items, and tools. You will use a variety of hand and power tools to shape the wood according to specific measurements and designs. You must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work with precision to ensure high-quality finished products. This position requires strong physical stamina as it involves standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy materials.

Responsibilities:
- Study design plans and specifications to determine the type of wood and tools needed
- Use hand and power tools such as saws, planers, routers, and sanders to shape the wood
- Measure and mark dimensions on wood according to design plans
- Cut, shape, and smooth wood using precise measurements
- Create joints for wood pieces using specialized techniques
- Sand down rough surfaces and apply finishes to completed products
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shaper or similar role in woodworking
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for shaping wood
- Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and measurements
- Ability to read design plans and specifications accurately
- Excellent eye-hand coordination
- Physical stamina for standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy materials
