Milling Machine Operator


Our company is currently seeking a skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Malindi. This position is perfect for someone with experience operating milling machines and a strong attention to detail. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications
- Adjust machine controls for speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth of cut
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed for quality control
- Inspect finished parts for defects using precision measuring instruments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating milling machines
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately measure dimensions
- Familiarity with various types of metals and their properties
- Knowledge of cutting tools and their applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CNC milling machines
- Technical degree or certification in machining or related field
