Network and Systems Administrator (Part-Time) in Lahore, Pakistan



We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Lahore on a part-time basis. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and networks. Your main duties will include monitoring network performance, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring data security.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install and maintain network hardware and software systems
- Troubleshoot network problems and perform necessary repairs
- Monitor network performance to ensure smooth operation
- Implement security measures to protect data and systems
- Maintain server infrastructure including backups, updates, and upgrades
- Collaborate with IT team to design and implement new network solutions
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and networking issues
- Monitor system logs to identify potential issues or security breaches
- Keep up-to-date with latest technologies and industry trends related to networking and systems administration

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of network hardware (routers, switches) and protocols (TCP/IP)
- Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Knowledge of security protocols (firewalls, intrusion detection)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours.

Salary:
Starting salary of 1600$ per month.
