A reputable educational institution in Lahore is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Librarian to join our team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection of books, journals, and other resources, as well as assisting students and faculty with research needs. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the library's collection by selecting relevant materials and ensuring they are properly cataloged and organized.
- Assist students and faculty with research needs by providing guidance on how to access resources, search databases, and use reference materials.
- Manage the circulation of library materials by checking books in and out, processing returns, and issuing fines for overdue items.
- Keep accurate records of library usage statistics, inventory levels, and budgets.
- Maintain the physical appearance of the library by shelving books, organizing displays, and keeping shelves clean and orderly.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in library science to continually improve services.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a library setting.
- Extensive knowledge of library classification systems and cataloging processes.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency with library databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist patrons from diverse backgrounds.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Salary: 1300$ per month

Location: Lahore (own visa jobs available)
