Junior Computer Systems Analyst

As a Junior Computer Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving computer systems within our company. Your duties will include gathering and analyzing data, designing and implementing new systems, and providing technical support to users. You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure the smooth functioning of our computer systems. This is an entry-level position perfect for students or recent graduates looking to gain experience in the field of computer systems analysis. This position is based in Funchal, with a salary of 1400$ per month and includes a free visa and ticket for non-local candidates.

In this role, you will be expected to have strong analytical skills, as well as knowledge of computer hardware, software, and programming languages. You should also possess excellent problem-solving abilities and be able to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities:
- Collecting and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement in our computer systems
- Designing and implementing new systems or modifications to existing ones
- Conducting tests and troubleshooting issues with hardware, software, or network connectivity
- Providing technical support to users by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Collaborating with other IT professionals on projects or system upgrades
- Documenting processes and procedures related to system changes or updates

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (students currently pursuing degree may also apply)
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and interpret complex data sets
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
