DevOps Engineer


As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our company's infrastructure and software development processes. Your main role will be to bridge the gap between development and operations teams, ensuring efficient and continuous delivery of high-quality software products. Your position is based in Funchal, Portugal.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain our company's infrastructure using automation tools such as Chef, Ansible or Puppet
- Develop and implement continuous integration and deployment processes
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in both production and development environments
- Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of new features and updates
- Collaborate with security team to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a DevOps role
- Experience with automation tools such as Chef, Ansible or Puppet
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of source control management tools like Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary package starting at $1500 per month.
