DevOps Developer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Developer to join our team in Funchal. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing our development and production infrastructure. This includes managing code deployments, automating processes, and ensuring the reliability and security of our systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software development, as well as a deep understanding of cloud computing and automation tools. You should also possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain our development and production infrastructure
- Manage code deployments using tools like Git or Jenkins
- Implement automation processes for system monitoring, testing, and deployment
- Troubleshoot issues in development and production environments
- Ensure the security and reliability of our systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and performance
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a software developer or DevOps engineer
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of networking principles and security protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong communication skills
