Typesetter Graphic Designer

As a Typesetter Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently setting and arranging text and images in various formats for print and digital media. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. You will also be expected to have a creative eye for design and the ability to work with various fonts, layouts, and colors. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software is required. This is a contract position in Funchal with a salary of 1600$, without accommodation provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set text and images in various formats for print and digital media
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in all typography
- Collaborate with clients or team members to determine project needs
- Create visually appealing designs using different fonts, layouts, and colors
- Use design software such as Adobe Creative Suite to enhance graphics
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Proofread final designs for errors before printing or publishing
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Typesetter or Graphic Designer
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members or clients
- Creative eye for design with knowledge of typography principles
- Knowledge of print production processes
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred
