Courier Delivery Driver

We are hiring a reliable and responsible Courier Delivery Driver to join our team in Funchal. As a Courier Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to our customers within the city. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, as well as a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to designated locations
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely delivery
- Verify package contents and ensure accurate delivery to the correct recipient
- Collect payments from customers when required
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues or delays
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for package handling and customer service
- Communicate with dispatch regarding any changes, delays, or issues during deliveries

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with Funchal roads and neighborhoods is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy packages up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: $900 per month

Location: Funchal, Portugal

Experience Required: Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role preferred.
