Architectural Technologist

As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development and construction of architectural projects. This role requires a strong understanding of building codes, materials and construction techniques, as well as proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software. You will work closely with architects, engineers and contractors to create detailed drawings and specifications for various architectural elements. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop architectural designs
- Create detailed drawings using CAD software
- Prepare specifications for materials, finishes and construction techniques
- Review building codes and regulations to ensure compliance
- Conduct site visits to gather information for project development
- Coordinate with contractors during construction process
- Identify potential issues and provide solutions during the design phase
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in architectural design or drafting
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Faro, Portugal
