Industrial Alpinist

As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at great heights or in confined spaces, using rope access techniques. Your role will involve working in various industries such as construction, oil and gas, telecommunications, and wind energy. You will be working with a team to carry out maintenance, repairs, installations, and inspections on structures or equipment that are difficult to access.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform tasks at great heights or in confined spaces using rope access techniques
- Inspect, maintain, repair and install equipment or structures at height
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with a team to complete projects efficiently
- Adhere to project deadlines and meet quality standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients

Requirements:

- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in industrial alpinism preferred
- Physically fit and able to work at heights for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in industrial alpinism is an asset but not required

Salary: $1700 per month

Location: Svalbard (preference for local candidates but open to all nationalities)

Working Hours: Part-time (flexible schedule)

Accommodation: Not provided (must arrange own accommodation)

Experience: No experience required (training will be provided)
