Restaurant Manager - Oslo, Norway (Contract)
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant in Oslo. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure high-quality food and service are provided to our customers. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for the culinary industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Create schedules and assign tasks to ensure efficient operation of the restaurant
- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and standards
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations
- Address customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Create marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train employees effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good problem-solving skills
Salary: 1600$ per month
This is a contract position without accommodation. However, we will provide you with a free visa and ticket to Oslo.
