Welder - Part Time (with Accommodation, Own Visa)

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team on a part-time basis in Alta, Norway. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding techniques to join metal components and structures. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, physically fit, and has a strong understanding of welding safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand project requirements
- Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, or cutting
- Select appropriate welding equipment based on project specifications
- Perform various types of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Monitor the welding process to ensure quality and accuracy
- Inspect completed welds for any defects or imperfections
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder with working knowledge of different welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Must have own visa for working in Norway
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Good understanding of safety protocols related to welding
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours. The salary for this role is 1600$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for the successful candidate if needed. We also require that the candidate has their own valid visa for working in Norway.
