Junior Network and Systems Administrator


We are hiring a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Akron. As a Junior Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our company's network and computer systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Perform regular backups of data to ensure system integrity
- Install and maintain software applications on servers and workstations
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and networking issues
- Maintain security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies or upgrades

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience working with network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Knowledge of Windows server administration (Active Directory) and virtualization (VMware)
- Familiarity with cloud-based services such as Microsoft Azure or AWS is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $1300 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Akron. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
