Mason Assistant

We are in search of a skilled and reliable Mason Assistant to join our team in Bergen. As a Mason Assistant, you will assist our experienced masons in various tasks, including mixing and applying mortar, setting up scaffolding, and carrying materials. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in learning the trade of masonry and gaining practical on-the-job experience.

Responsibilities:
- Assist masons in preparing and cleaning work areas
- Mix and apply mortar according to specifications
- Carry materials such as bricks, stones, and concrete blocks
- Set up scaffolding and ladders
- Help with measuring and cutting materials
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:
- No prior experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and work hard is essential
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of construction tools preferred but not required

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
