We are seeking a highly skilled Fitter to join our team in Akron. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical systems and components according to specifications. Your main goal will be to ensure that all machines and equipment are properly functional and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals
- Measure, cut, and shape materials using hand or power tools
- Assemble and install mechanical systems and components such as pipes, valves, pumps, and motors
- Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rulers, micrometers, etc.
- Inspect and test installed systems to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus
- Experience reading technical drawings and using various hand/power tools
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, welding, cutting techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
