Sous Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Braga. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with our head chef to oversee and manage the daily operations of our kitchen. You must have a passion for cooking, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the head chef in menu planning and development
- Ensure the quality and consistency of all dishes served
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including scheduling and delegation of tasks
- Manage inventory levels and ordering of supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
Salary: 1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
City: Braga, Portugal (open to candidates from any nationality)
