Head Baker

As the Head Baker for our well-established bakery in Nakuru, Kenya, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our baking operations. This is a full-time position that requires a highly skilled and experienced baker who is passionate about creating delicious baked goods and leading a team to success.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of bakers and other kitchen staff
- Create and maintain baking schedules to ensure products are consistently available for customers
- Train new employees on baking techniques and recipes
- Ensure high quality standards are met for all baked goods
- Order and maintain inventory of baking supplies
- Oversee the production process from mixing to packaging
- Monitor oven temperatures and make necessary adjustments
- Develop new recipes and products to keep up with trends and customer preferences
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a timely manner

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a professional baker, preferably in a leadership role
- Extensive knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train others
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Must have legal authorization to work in Kenya

Salary:
Starting salary of $1700 per month with potential for growth based on performance.
