Crane Operator in Malindi, Kenya
We are in search of a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition materials and objects on construction sites or in industrial settings. The ideal candidate should have experience operating various types of cranes and be able to work efficiently under pressure.
Responsibilities:
-Operate crane according to job orders and safety guidelines
-Inspect crane equipment before use and report any defects or malfunctions
-Ensure proper positioning of crane before lifting heavy objects
-Maneuver crane using hand signals or radio communication with ground crew
-Monitor weather conditions and adjust crane operations accordingly
-Load and unload materials from trucks or containers using the crane
-Maintain accurate records of materials lifted and moved
-Clean and maintain crane equipment on a regular basis
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Crane Operator in construction or industrial settings
-In-depth knowledge of various types of cranes and their operation techniques
-Ability to interpret hand signals and use radio communication effectively
-Aptitude in math and mechanical abilities to calculate load weights and angles
-Familiarity with safety regulations for operating cranes
-Biometric passport (preferably) for verification purposes
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or equivalent required
-Certification from a recognized institution for operating cranes
-Valid driver's license with clean driving record
-Physical strength and stamina to work long hours in varying weather conditions
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of USD 1100 per month along with benefits such as medical insurance, housing allowance, and annual leave.
