Typesetting Specialist

As a Typesetting Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and formatting digital and print materials for various publications. You must have experience with design software and a strong attention to detail. This role requires proficiency in English, as well as the ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use design software to create and format materials such as books, magazines, brochures, and advertisements
- Ensure accuracy in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall layout of materials
- Collaborate with editors, proofreaders, and production team to ensure timely completion of projects
- Meet strict deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and software updates to continuously improve design skills
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in typesetting or graphic design
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Experience working with various file formats for both digital and print materials

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a publishing or printing environment
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS coding for digital publications
- Familiarity with different language fonts and special characters for multilingual publications

Salary: $1300 per month (based on experience)
Work Schedule: Part-time (20 hours per week)
Location: Washington D.C.
