Part-time Moderator for English-Speaking Community in Atlanta


We are seeking a part-time Moderator to join our growing community of English-speaking foreigners in Atlanta. As a Moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing our online forums and social media groups, ensuring that discussions are respectful and productive. You will also be responsible for resolving any conflicts or issues that may arise within the community.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and moderate online forums and social media groups to ensure adherence to community guidelines
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment within the community by promoting respectful discussions and discouraging harassment or discrimination
- Respond to user inquiries and complaints in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other moderators to create engaging content and activities for the community
- Keep track of relevant news and events in Atlanta that may be of interest to the community

Requirements:
- Fluent in English with excellent written communication skills
- Knowledgeable about Atlanta's culture, events, and resources
- Previous experience moderating online communities is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle conflicts diplomatically
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Available to work part-time hours, including weekends if needed

Compensation:
This is a part-time position with a salary of $1300 per month. Accommodation may be provided if necessary.
