Our library in Multan, Pakistan is seeking a dynamic and experienced Librarian to join our team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library collections, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and promoting library resources and services. This is a contract position with visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize library collections including books, periodicals, and digital resources
- Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries
- Develop and promote library resources and services to increase usage
- Create engaging displays to highlight new additions to the collection or promote specific topics
- Provide informational literacy instruction to students and faculty members
- Train and supervise library staff members as needed
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop course-specific library instruction sessions
- Evaluate current collection materials and make recommendations for additions or removals
- Maintain accurate records of circulation statistics, inventory, and budget expenditures
- Stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements in the field of librarianship

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Librarian in an academic setting
- Strong knowledge of library cataloging systems, information literacy instruction techniques, and reference tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively

Salary:
This is a contract position offering a salary of 1300$ per month. Visa sponsorship is available for non-Pakistani candidates.
