Gardener for a Private Residence in Nairobi, Kenya

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gardener to maintain and cultivate the gardens of a private residence in Nairobi, Kenya. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening and experience working in a similar role. The Gardener will be responsible for planting, pruning, watering, and maintaining the overall health and appearance of the gardens. This is a part-time position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Planting new flowers, trees, and shrubs according to seasonal needs
- Maintaining the gardens through regular watering, weeding, and pruning
- Applying fertilizers and pesticides as needed to ensure healthy plants
- Monitoring and controlling pests and diseases in the gardens
- Maintaining garden equipment and tools in good working condition
- Keeping the garden areas clean and organized
- Assisting with special projects such as landscaping or garden design
- Providing guidance on plant selection and care to the property owner

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Gardener or similar role
- Knowledge of plant care techniques including watering, pruning, fertilizing, etc.
- Ability to identify common pests and diseases in plants and take appropriate action
- Physical stamina to work outdoors for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills to interact with property owner as needed
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to learn new techniques or skills related to gardening

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

Accommodation will be provided on-site within the private residence.

Preference:
This job is open to all nationalities but preference will be given to Indian candidates.

Note:
This is an excellent opportunity for freshers or those without previous experience looking to start a career as a Gardener. No English language skills are required for this position.
