QA Engineer

A reputable software development company in Vilnius is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies, as well as experience working with manual and automated testing tools. This is a contract position, open to Indian nationals with a biometric passport, and the role does not require English proficiency. Women are encouraged to apply for this opportunity.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software products
- Identify, record, and track defects in the system
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to troubleshoot issues
- Conduct regression testing to ensure bug fixes do not impact existing functionality
- Create and maintain test documentation such as test plans, test cases, and defect reports
- Participate in code reviews to provide input from a quality assurance perspective
- Regularly communicate testing progress and results to the project team

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 1 year experience in software quality assurance
- Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Experience working with bug tracking systems such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug complex issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
