IT Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our growing team in Porto, Portugal. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall technology infrastructure and operations of our company. This includes managing a team of IT professionals, implementing and maintaining systems and networks, and ensuring the security of our data.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure efficient and secure operations
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of hardware, software, and networks
- Monitor system performance to identify issues and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Ensure data security by implementing appropriate backup processes, disaster recovery plans, and security protocols
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology to recommend new solutions that will improve efficiency or reduce costs
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide appropriate support

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, security protocols, and software applications
- Experience managing a team of IT professionals
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate others towards achieving goals
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1200$ per month.
