Part-time Interpreter in La-Condamine

We are in need of a skilled interpreter to join our team in La-Condamine on a part-time basis. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. Your main role will be to accurately interpret and convey spoken or written messages from one language to another.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between individuals who speak different languages
- Listen carefully to the speaker's message and accurately interpret it into the target language
- Translate written materials, such as documents or emails, from one language to another
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Adapt quickly to different dialects and cultural differences
- Use specialized dictionaries and reference materials to ensure accuracy of translations
- Provide cultural expertise to help individuals better understand each other's customs and traditions

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an interpreter or similar role
- Native or near-native proficiency in at least two languages (including English)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and think quickly on your feet
- Strong knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivity towards diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with specialized terminology used in various fields (medical, legal, technical)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
