Carpenter - Residential Construction


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our residential construction team in Bayan, Canada. As a Carpenter, you will work on various projects including new construction, renovations, and repairs for residential properties. You will be responsible for reading blueprints, taking measurements, and cutting and shaping materials according to specifications. In addition, you will also be required to install fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and trim work.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints for residential construction projects
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Install framework for structures such as walls, roofs, and floors
- Install fixtures including windows, doors, cabinets, and trim work
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand or power tools
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project completion within deadlines
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Vocational school training in carpentry is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential construction as a Carpenter
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Able to read blueprints and accurately measure materials
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills

Salary:
1600$ per month

Location:
Bayan, Canada

Employment Type:
Contract with the possibility of extension
