Crane Operator



We are hiring a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Nizwa. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in operating cranes and hold necessary certifications.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes such as tower, mobile, and hydraulic cranes according to job requirements
- Inspect crane for any defects or damages before each use and report any issues to the supervisor
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating the crane
- Communicate with team members on the ground using hand signals or radio communication
- Lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment using the crane
- Monitor weather conditions that may affect crane operations
- Maintain logs of daily activities including materials lifted, hours worked, etc.
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane to ensure its safe operation

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating cranes in a construction setting
- Valid crane operator certification is a must
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals related to crane operation
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and equipment used on job sites
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team

Salary: 1200$ per month
