Excavator Operator for Construction Projects in Bungoma, Kenya

We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in overseeing construction projects in Bungoma, Kenya. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to move earth, materials, and equipment on construction sites. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine proper equipment operations and positioning
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Safely load and transport materials using the excavator
- Dig trenches, excavate foundations, and level terrain as needed for construction projects
- Communicate with other team members to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience operating excavators on construction sites
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Good physical condition and ability to work long hours in varying weather conditions
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
