Formwork Specialist


We are hiring a skilled Formwork Specialist to join our team in Braga. As a Formwork Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and maintaining formwork structures for various construction projects. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Measure and cut materials to required specifications
- Construct formwork structures using various tools and equipment
- Install reinforcement bars and braces as needed
- Pour concrete into formwork structures
- Remove formwork after concrete has set
- Inspect formwork for any defects or damages
- Repair or replace damaged formwork as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Formworker or in a similar role
- Proficiency in reading construction plans and blueprints
- Knowledge of different types of formwork systems and their uses
- Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work at heights if required
- Attention to detail with strong mathematical skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team

Salary:
$1000 per month, with accommodation provided. Visa sponsorship and flight tickets will also be provided for international candidates.

Location:
This position is located in Braga, Portugal.
