Interpreter (Karachi)

As an Interpreter in Karachi, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. This may involve interpreting spoken language in real-time or translating written documents. You must have a strong command of at least two languages and be able to accurately convey meaning and tone between parties. You will work on a contract basis without accommodation, but we will provide you with a free visa and ticket.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between individuals who do not speak the same language
- Interpret spoken language during meetings, conferences, or other events
- Translate written documents such as reports, contracts, and correspondence
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Understand cultural differences and adapt communication accordingly
- Ensure accurate interpretation by seeking clarification when necessary
- Possess knowledge of specialized terminology in both languages
- Keep updated on current events and terminology in both languages

Requirements:
- Fluency in at least two languages (English and Urdu preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator
- Familiarity with specialized terminology related to the profession or industry
- Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong listening skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Karachi, Pakistan. However, we welcome applicants from any nationality to apply.

Contract:
This is a contract position without accommodation provided. However, we will cover your visa fees and provide you with a free ticket to travel to Karachi.
