Job Title: Bilingual Interpreter

Our organization is seeking a skilled Bilingual Interpreter to join our team in Karachi, Pakistan. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for interpreting spoken and written communication between two or more languages. This is a contract position without accommodation, open to all nationalities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken conversations between individuals or groups in different languages
- Translate written documents from one language to another accurately and efficiently
- Facilitate communication between parties who do not speak the same language
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Take notes and provide accurate summaries of conversations and meetings
- Ensure cultural sensitivity and understanding during interactions with clients or colleagues

Requirements:
- Fluency in at least two languages (e.g. English and Urdu)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator
- Strong knowledge of cultural differences and customs related to each language
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Interpretation, Linguistics or a related field preferred
- Certification or training in interpretation techniques is a plus

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this contract position.
