Sous Chef - Bayan, Kuwait
We are in need of a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a prestigious restaurant in Bayan, Kuwait. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers. Your creativity, attention to detail and strong leadership skills will contribute to the success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in creating menus and recipes
- Oversee food preparation and presentation
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Order and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
- Monitor food costs and control expenses
- Develop new dishes and improve existing ones based on customer feedback
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and portion sizes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and international cuisines
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Creativity and passion for food
- High level of organization and time-management skills
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts is preferred
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month, along with benefits such as accommodation, transportation, medical insurance, annual leave, and flight tickets.
