Elevator Installer/Technician



As an Elevator Installer/Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of elevators in various buildings and structures. Your main duties will include setting up elevator components, testing systems for proper functioning, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. You will also be required to keep detailed records of all work performed and communicate with clients and coworkers effectively. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of elevator mechanics and safety regulations, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. This position is based in Moscow and offers a salary of 1300$ per month.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in elevator installation/maintenance preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of elevator systems
- Understanding of safety regulations related to elevators
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints
- Good communication skills in English (Russian language skills preferred)
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one (for foreigners)
- Canadian citizenship or permanent residency preferred (but not required)

Responsibilities:

- Install new elevators according to manufacturer instructions and building codes
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on elevators to ensure proper functioning
- Identify any issues with the elevator system and troubleshoot problems accordingly
- Perform repairs on elevators as needed using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Keep accurate records of all work performed including parts used, labor hours, etc.
- Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and supervisors regarding job progress and any concerns that may arise
- Adhere to safety regulations at all times while working on elevators or in other hazardous environments
- Stay up-to-date on industry advancements, new technologies, and safety protocols related to elevator installation/maintenance

We are looking for a reliable individual who is able to work independently as well as part of a team. The successful candidate must have a keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills. This is a full-time position, but part-time opportunities may be available. No English proficiency is required for this role, but it is preferred.
