Collections Agent

We are seeking a highly motivated Collections Agent to join our team in Malindi. As a Collections Agent, you will be responsible for contacting individuals and businesses to collect outstanding debts and payments. This position is suitable for men and does not require prior experience. We welcome applicants with own visas and proficiency in English. Your main goal will be to negotiate payment arrangements and follow up on overdue accounts, while maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Contact individuals and businesses via phone, email or mail to collect outstanding debts
- Negotiate payment arrangements with debtors based on their financial situation
- Maintain accurate records of all communication with debtors
- Follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payment
- Handle disputes or concerns raised by debtors in a professional manner
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the collections process

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
- Previous experience in collections or customer service is a plus
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong negotiation abilities and the ability to handle difficult conversations with debtors
- Ability to work independently and meet targets set by management
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Salary: 1500$ per month

Location: Malindi, Kenya (suitable for Indian nationals)
