Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Salary: 1800$
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of these machines on construction sites.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment according to job specifications and safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Inspect equipment before use and report any issues or malfunctions
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while operating equipment
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow
- Keep records of daily activities, including material usage, repairs, and maintenance
- Adhere to project timelines and complete tasks within given deadlines
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
- Proven experience operating various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or job specifications
- Strong communication skills
- Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions
Preferred:
- Experience in the construction industry
- Certification or training in heavy equipment operation
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month for this position. This is a full-time role without accommodation provided.
