Junior DevOps Developer


We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior DevOps Developer to join our growing team in Faro. As a part-time employee, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the fast-paced world of DevOps while also having the flexibility to pursue other interests. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our development and operations teams by automating processes, managing infrastructure, and implementing continuous integration and delivery pipelines. You will work closely with our software engineers to ensure smooth deployment and release of applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to kickstart their career in DevOps.

Requirements:
- Must hold a valid biometric passport
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python or Ruby
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation tools for software deployment, infrastructure management, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful release and deployment of applications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
- Implement and manage continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines.
- Work closely with the operations team to maintain infrastructure security.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in DevOps.

Salary:
This part-time position offers a competitive salary of 1400$ per month.

Location:
This role is based in Faro, Portugal. However, we welcome candidates from any nationality as long as they hold a valid biometric passport.
