Metal Fabricator

We are in need of a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team in Braga. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and repairing metal structures, equipment, and machinery using various welding techniques. They will also be required to read and interpret blueprints, use hand and power tools, and operate machinery to ensure the highest quality work is produced. The Metal Fabricator must have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and dimensions for metal structures
- Cut, shape, and bend metal pieces using hand and power tools such as saws, grinders, and drills
- Weld or solder parts together using various techniques including MIG, TIG, and arc welding
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality control
- Operate machinery including press brakes, shears, and rollers
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and materials

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
- Knowledge of various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, arc welding
- Ability to use hand tools such as saws, grinders, drills effectively
- Familiarity with operating machinery including press brakes, shears, rollers
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects

Education/Training:
High school diploma/GED required; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred

Salary:
$1000 per month
