Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain databases to ensure their performance, availability, and security
- Troubleshoot any issues related to databases and provide timely resolutions
- Implement security measures to protect the company's sensitive data
- Create backups of databases and develop disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to identify and implement database-related solutions
- Review and improve database performance by analyzing data access patterns
- Develop and maintain documentation related to databases, including procedures and user guides
- Train employees on how to use databases efficiently

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of database management systems (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL)
- Experience with data backup and recovery solutions
- Familiarity with database design principles and data normalization techniques
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Biometric passport is preferred
